Riverwalk Market Fair

Saturdays, June 1 to October 26 (excluding Defeat of Jesse James Days Weekend) outdoors, then the Fair moves indoors through December. Ease into a sunny, summer weekend by strolling along the picturesque riverside of historic downtown Northfield and take in the sights, tastes and sounds through fine art, organic produce, artisan foods and local music. (Hours 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.)

Thursdays on the Square

On many Thursday evenings in June through August you will find a crowd gathered on Bridge Square in the heart of the city for community barnd concerts and other activities. Most stores remain open for the festivities, so shop away in a comfortable, unhurried atmosphere.
 

7th Annual Noontime Organ Recitals

Northfield Noontime Organ Recitals enter their seventh season this summer beginning July 10 and concluding on August 14. All recitals are free and open to the public. The six recitals will be held on Wednesday noon hour from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. with the following schedule:

Bridge Chamber Music 2013

The Bridge Chamber Music Festival is proud to announce its 14th season, in Northfield, MN. The annual concert series is held at various venues and dates over a week's span in the Northfield and is host to distinct talent ranging from young artists to internationally known chamber musicians. Defeat of Jesse James Days

September 5-8, 2013
Voted "Best Re-Enactment of the West" by True West Magazine, this event pays tribute to Northfield townspeople who defeated the infamous James-Younger Gang when it attempted to rob the town’s First National Bank on September 7, 1876. Witness the re-enactment of the bank raid and see an informative show that includes live horses, gunshots and brave townspeople standing up against the gang. There's also a rodeo, old-time tractor pull, midway, parade, arts festival, music, arts and crafts shows and more.

South Central Minnesota Studio ArTour

October 19 & 20 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Step inside artists’ personal studios and gather a glimpse of inspiring art media created locally in south central Minnesota including watercolor, pottery, wood, clay sculptures, photography, metal, fabric/wearable art and much more. The 2-day tour winds through the communities of Cannon Falls, Northfield and Faribault.
