The MayFly and June Bug Music Festivals take place the last weekend of May and June respectively. Two days of outdoor (weather permitting) musical performances Friday and Saturday night at the British-style pub, the Contented Cow, in downtown Northfield, overlooking the Cannon River.
May 20-21 – Two days of WWII themed battles, re-enactments of homefront life, field hospital demonstrations, educational lectures, military and artillery displays, and swap meet. Fun for the whole family!
Memorial Day Weekend – Swap meet and flea market, tractor pull, consignment auction and food vendors. Located on the Dundas Showgrounds just 3 miles south of Northfield on Hwy 3.
Saturdays, June-October, 9am-1pm – This one-of-a-kind open air market has something for everyone, including the area’s best artwork, fine crafts, food artisans, fresh flowers and produce picked from local farms. Each Saturday offers a different blend of musical entertainment and kid’s activities.
June 17 & 18 – The ceramic artists of the Northfield area invite you to join us Father’s Day weekend for our annual Cannon River Clay Tour. Hosted by 10 local clay artists from around the country, this self-guided studio tour and sale will include a wide range of ceramic work. Meet the artists, see where they work and enjoy our hospitality. The four stops on the tour all surround beautiful Northfield.
Join us for a hometown celebration that includes a Flea Market in Ames Park, Vintage Baseball Game and of course Fireworks!
The Vintage Band Festival provides eclectic brass music played by bands all over the world. Audiences of all ages will enjoy this four-day festival July 28-31 at Bridge Square in downtown Northfield.
