- Young People’s Theater Workshop

Where: Northfield High School
Participants in the Young People’s Theater Workshop take part in writing, rehearsing, and performing an original script after three weeks of preparation in creative drama and dance classes led by a staff of theater artists. The program culminates in a live performance for the public on the last three days of their session. All performances will be held at Northfield High School.

- Lighten Up Garage Sale
When: June 28 & 29
Where: Laird Stadium
Each Spring Carleton College students donate unneeded items to the Lighten Up Garage Sale. Students donate a variety of items including: clothing, winter apparel, furniture, household items, books, bedding, sport equipment, and other fun things! The sale is held every year in Carleton’s Laird Stadium the weekend after Reunion. The 2019 sale will be Friday June 28 from 8-4 and Saturday June 29 from 8-12. The proceeds provide essential funds for community non-profits and also served as an excellent lesson in “green” living!

A community-wide exhibition examining the central nature of water in our daily lives featuring artists who live and work within the Cannon River Watershed. This exhibition runs concurrently with We Are Water Museum Exhibit. Where: Hot Spot Music Studio
Description:Open to musicians of all ages and abilities, this jam is a perfect way to run through standard charts in a low-key, laid-back setting. Charts will be provided for everyone to follow along. It’s a spiritual experience. More at hotspotmusic.org.
