The 1960 Tony Award-winning Best Play by William Gibson. Adapted from the true story of their lives, this inspirational drama chronicles Helen Keller’s astonishing journey from her trapped and silent world to one of knowledge and freedom with the help of her beloved and gifted tutor Anne Sullivan. Witness a miracle and bring your family to a show that sheds light on the true struggles and wonders of living with different abilities. The play is a testament to the power of the human spirit. Renowned “kick-ass Americana band” (Hindsight Harmonies), this Twin Cities ensemble makes their way back to Northfield in support of their latest release, “Heaven’s Operahouse.” The group’s popular laid-back roots rock draws on influences ranging from Neil Young, Gram Parsons and John Prine to The Eels and Tom Petty – lending their own unique brand of roots music that melds smart lyricism with pop-infused melodies.
